Ricky Steamboat hits an arm drag on Chris Jericho.

A Babyface Shine is the typical opening part of a professional wrestling match. During this part of the match, the babyface will establish an early dominance in the match-up, often by hitting many high-energy, often high-flying typical babyface maneuvers, such as  arm drags,  hip tosses, and  dropkicks. Heavier babyfaces will hit  running clotheslines and  suplexes.

The Babyface Shine is cut short by a heel who is building heat. In a match where time is running short, the Babyface Shine will be cut from the match completely.
