The Brothers of Destruction are a legendary tag team comprised of storyline brothers Undertaker and Kane. The team has won the WWF Tag Team Championship, WCW Tag Team Championship, and WWE Tag Team Championship together.
The Brothers of Destruction have had an on-again/off-again rivalry since Kane showed up in the WWF. They started as rivals, having their first singles match at WrestleMania XIV. Then, they slowly became unified later that year to assist Vince McMahon in his removing the championship from Stone Cold Steve Austin. They kept their distance from each other through most of 1999 and 2000 (partly due to injury) before reuniting in 2001 for the WCW Invasion. They were drafted to opposing brands in 2002, but Kane helped Vince McMahon beat Undertaker in a Buried Alive match at Survivor Series in November 2003. Undertaker returned at WrestleMania XX and he defeated Kane. After more time passed, they let bygones be bygones (perhaps because Kane had never beaten Taker when it mattered) and they were aligned again after WrestleMania XXIV when Edge and Chavo Guerrero were their respective arch-rivals. In 2010, they resumed a rivalry when Kane attacked Undertaker off-camera over Labor Day weekend and blamed Rey Mysterio until Mysterio revealed Kane as the culprit. The two fought in three consecutive WWE pay-per-views and Kane won all three.
Unlike The Hardys and E&C Dynasty, the Brothers of Destruction are not considered one of the most successful teams in the tag division and singles division because a large portion of their success (especially for Undertaker) came prior to their teaming together, unlike the aforementioned teams of Jardy & Mardy, Edge & Christian, and even the team of The Miz & John Morrison.
