Conan Christopher O'Brien -- (born April 18, 1963, in Brookline, Massachusetts) is a popular television host, most notably as the host of "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" from 1993 through 2009. From June 1, 2009, until January 22, 2010, he was the host of "The Tonight Show," but he left NBC amidst the controversy from their decision to put Jay Leno back in the 11:30 PM (Eastern) time slot. On November 8, 2010, he started hosting "Conan" on TBS.
During his 16 years on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," there were numerous sketches with unique characters, some of which have become fixtures in American pop culture, including Vomiting Kermit, The Masturbating Bear, and especially Triumph The Insult Comic Dog.
On February 24, 2010, Conan O'Brien joined Twitter. Shortly thereafter, Edward Motley began tweetjacking his posts by reposting Conan's tweets with slight paraphrasing. On April 30th, Jimmy Nova informed Conan of this treachery, to which Conan allegedly insisted Kay stop, but Kay has refused until video of Conan's protest is provided.
