King Kong Bundy -- (born November 7, 1957, as Chris Pallies, in Atlantic City, NJ) is a semi-retired pro wrestler, best known for his work in the WWF and his imposing yet somewhat cartoonish appearance as a monsterous behemoth with pale skin and a completely hairless body. When it came time to name the family for Married... With Children, the writers chose "Bundy" with King Kong Bundy in mind (he allegedly appeared in a 1988 episode of the show as Uncle Irwin). The biggest match of his career was challenging Hulk Hogan for the WWF World title in a steel cage match at WrestleMania 2.
Managed by Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, King Kong Bundy was a headliner through most of his time in the WWF, usually as a thorn in the side of Andre The Giant or Hulk Hogan, until he left the WWF shortly before WrestleMania IV. In his last couple SNME matches, he beat Hogan in a title match by count-out in November 1987 and then he lost a January 1988 rematch, in which Andre was his cornerman.
In September 1994, King Kong Bundy returned to the WWF as a member of The Million Dollar Corporation for about a year. First setting his sights on The Undertaker, which culminated in a match at WrestleMania XI, Bundy also challenged WWF Champion Diesel and WWF Intercontinental champion Razor Ramon. He missed the 1995 King of the Ring tournament when Shawn Michaels beat him in a qualifying match.
