This was the first official release under the Chris Hiatt Experience banner, and it was the first new recordings Chris Hiatt released since his double album.
Track #1 was numbered Part 4 to follow the prior versions recorded by Earl King, Jimi Hendrix, and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Although there was never a "Come On (Part II)" released, Jimi's Electric Ladyland included two versions of the song: one titled "Come On (Let the Good Times Roll)" and the other titled "Come On (Part One)." SRV's cover was titled "Come On (Part III)."
Track #3 was a cover of The Doors and Track #9 was a cover of the Gloria Gaynor hit song. Tracks #1, #5 and #8 were SRV staples, and the other four are originals.
Kay bought the CD when Chris Hiatt had a two-night stand in Glendale, AZ, in August 2009. He left a Anime Chat in order to attend.
When Chris Hiatt returned to Arizona in 2010, he played at Pranksters Too on April 14th and he had T-shirts of the album cover for sale. This was Kay's first (and only) Chris Hiatt T-shirt.
